Product detailed description
The muffler is developed exclusively for the BMW R 1300 GS, based on many years of experience with the BMW GS series and its boxer engines. The dual-flow muffler made of lightweight titanium and the hand-crafted carbon fiber tailpipe result in a weight reduction of 9.3% compared to the standard series equipment.
Designed for higher performance and improved noise insulation, which reduces environmental impact while providing a deep, full sound. The special profiled surface of the muffler increases strength and durability and is finished with an engraved logo.
An increase in power and torque of 1.4 kW (1.9 hp) at 7,600 rpm and 4.5 Nm at 2,300 rpm. These values were achieved in head-to-head comparisons on the Akrapovič dynamometer against a BMW R 1300 GS with a standard series exhaust. EC/ECE type approval, simple plug and play installation without the need for remapping.
After installation, the entire system is fully compatible with BMW Motorrad side cases.
