Take advantage of the flexibility and intelligence of your Yamaha Ténéré's CAN bus electrical system and make accessory installation significantly easier with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ GEN II controller.
The DENALI CANsmart™ Controller allows plug-n-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories, allowing for dozens of customizable settings that can be controlled directly from the Ténéré hand controls or the CANsmart™ Accessory Manager software.
Four dedicated circuits are pre-programmed to connect and independently control two sets of DENALI 2.0 headlights (one set drawing up to 10A and one drawing up to 4A), a SoundBomb horn, and a B6 auxiliary brake light. However, the clever "simple circuit override" feature allows you to use any accessory on any of the four circuits.
High and Low Beam Synchronization - Set your auxiliary lights to switch between programmable high and low beam settings using the factory high beam switch.
On/Off and Dimming - Turn on a set of primary auxiliary lights and change the intensity level directly from the motorcycle's controls.
Light Modulation - Set your auxiliary lights to modulate to increase your visibility to other drivers.
Flash to Pass - Need to get someone's attention? Flash the high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will flash three times quickly.
Installing a horn Plug & Play - Quickly and easily connect high-performance aftermarket horns like the Denali SoundBomb™ without having to add an extra wire or relay.
Horn Strobe - When this feature is selected, CANsmart™ software will automatically strobe your auxiliary lights when you honk. This feature works regardless of whether you have a factory horn or a SoundBomb™ installed.
Deceleration-activated "Smart Brake" technology - CANsmart™ senses vehicle speed in real time and activates your auxiliary brake light when you decelerate before you even touch the brake. You can set the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the Smart Brake feature will activate.
Circuit Function Selector - The Circuit Function Selector in CANsmart software allows you to power and switch any accessory on any of the four circuits. Click on the circuit icon to open a drop-down menu and select from a list of available circuit functions.
Switched Power Supply - CANsmart™ provides a universal "accessory" option that simply provides you with a clean switched 12V power supply. This means that any accessory you connect to this circuit will turn on and off with the ignition.
Delayed Timeout - You can also set the accessories on this circuit to have a delayed turn off. Up to 30 seconds after turning off the motorcycle ignition.
