Take advantage of the flexibility and intelligence of your Honda Africa Twin CRF1100L '20-'22's electrical system and make accessory installation a breeze with the DENALI CANsmart™ Controller. CANsmart allows plug-and-play installation of up to four accessories, controlled via existing handlebar switches. No more extra switches and wiring. No more bulky relays.
The four dedicated CANsmart circuits are pre-programmed to connect and independently control two sets of accessory lights, an accessory horn, and an accessory brake light. Each accessory circuit is electronically fused and ready to use right out of the box. Free software (for Mac or PC) allows you to customize these circuits, but the default settings will be fine for the vast majority of installations.
Among other things, it has "flash" and "horn strobe" settings that flash the auxiliary lights when you press the high beam switch or honk the horn. The feature-rich brake light circuit turns a simple two-wire brake light into a smart brake light complete with tail light, multi-flash, and deceleration-activated lighting. The horn circuit allows you to add an auxiliary horn without the need for a relay or special wiring harness.
You can set any of the four circuits to simple circuit mode, which disables all special settings and allows pure 12V power to the accessories of your choice. The electronic fuse will remain the only active setting, so there is no need to install a classic fuse on the cable.
