The Xtravel Basic Plug and Play side bag set was developed specifically for the original Vario pannier rack for the BMW R 1300 GS (2023-). The Lock-it attachment, which is firmly attached to the panniers, was specially designed for the 1300 GS. The panniers can be attached quickly and easily, yet still hold firmly even when riding off-road. The Lock-it attachment also allows them to be removed quickly and easily. Thanks to their capacity, they represent a real alternative to traditional hard cases. Since the integrated inner bag with roll closure is completely waterproof, even river crossings are no problem. Thanks to the two front G-hooks, the pannier can be compressed and closed securely even with a smaller content. The thermoformed front part made of EVA material cushions unexpected contact with the ground, creates space and provides a quickly accessible compartment with an integrated luggage net. The side MOLLE system, inspired by military textiles, allows for the attachment of optional accessories. When the bags are fully loaded, they can be secured together using the connecting strap.
