For this PRO tank bag model, the factory-installed fuel neck ring is replaced by a tank bag adapter. The PRO tank bag ring is then attached to this adapter.
Thanks to the magnetic guidance with Fidlock technology, the QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism of SW-MOTECH tank bags, which has been tested and proven for many years, can now be operated even easier. The positioning of the top ring has been significantly improved: the sliding top ring is already pre-assembled with the tank bag on the guide rail and the tank bag does not need to be drilled. This way, the top ring can be adjusted and aligned on the guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Once the correct position has been found, the top ring is screwed in firmly. When changing to a different motorcycle, the position of the top ring can be adjusted accordingly.
The magnetic guidance, developed by Fidlock, complements the already advanced SW-MOTECH QUICK-LOCK mechanical locking system: magnets guide the top ring into the correct position on the tank bag ring and the lock clicks firmly into place. The force of the magnets supports the positioning of the tank bag. Attach the tank bag in one easy step and you're off - with this clever solution, your luggage is safe.
The mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag and magnets connect the two parts of the ring. The robust glass fiber reinforced plastic with its highly precise locking geometry is responsible for ensuring that the tank bag remains firmly in place under all circumstances.
The patented PRO tank bag ring is made to fit the fuel tank neck of the given motorcycle model. This ensures the best possible placement on the tank.
