Brake Fluid DOT 4 is ideally suited for use in hydraulically operated disc and drum brake systems of motorcycles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, as well as agricultural and construction machinery. This fluid can be used wherever a brake fluid in accordance with the FMVSS 116 DOT 4 standard is required. Thanks to its high thermal stability and compatibility with system components, it is particularly suitable for modern brake systems equipped with ABS or ADS.
Application
May damage paints, varnishes, and some plastics. The fluid must only be filled into systems specifically designed for brake fluids.
Note: Mixing Brake Fluid DOT 4 with mineral oil-based fluids—even in the smallest amounts—must be strictly avoided under all circumstances, as it may cause serious malfunctions or total failure of the braking system. To ensure long-term safety and performance of the braking system, the replacement intervals specified by the vehicle manufacturer must be strictly followed. Only then can optimal function under all operating conditions be guaranteed.
