Auxiliary motorcycle lights are a popular accessory for improving visibility when riding at night, in rain, or through fog. They are suitable for adventure enduros, choppers, cruisers, road bikes, and touring motorcycles alike. Modern auxiliary lights typically use LEDs due to their long lifespan, low power consumption, and high lumen output.

Installation & Regulations:

Installation must adhere to strict legal requirements. You may only add one supplementary driving light to the original high beam, meaning a maximum of two high-beam headlights per motorcycle.

Up to two fog lights are permitted, provided they are road-legal (E-marked/homologated) and positioned correctly (at least 25 cm above the road surface, without aiming higher than the main headlight).

All auxiliary lights must feature proper street-legal homologation to avoid issues during roadworthiness inspections (MOT/TÜV).

Mounting is typically achieved using crash bar clamps or by attaching directly to the frame structure. Most auxiliary lights are waterproof (IP67 rated), and packages usually include a complete wiring harness and a heavy-duty switch.
