In addition, it contains two USB-A and USB-C ports for other devices. This eliminates the need to run and connect another power cable.
An interesting alternative for the newer Zumo XT2/Tread2 series is Teqmount Adapter Zumo XT 2 for BMW cradle, which allows you to power and hold the navigation and control it using the circular controller on the handlebars!
It is suitable for all BMW vehicles with factory preparation for navigation (Navigator IV, V, VI). It is simply inserted into the holder of the BMW navigation device in place of the Navigator. The integrated ports and the embedded navigation are powered via the contacts on the BMW holder. This eliminates the need to route and connect an additional power cable. You mount the navigation device firmly to the adapter and the whole thing is securely locked to the holder to prevent theft.
Designed specifically for Garmin XT / XT2 / Tread and TomTom Rider devices.
On the right side of the adapter housing there are two USB ports (USB 3.1 Type A and USB 3.1 Type C), which comply with the QC 3.0 and QC 4.0 fast charging standards (QC = quick charge). These can be used, for example, to charge a smartphone. The activity of the charging box is displayed by a blue LED, which is located visibly above the two USB ports.
The navigation device has a splash-proof design. When not in use, the USB ports can be covered with molded elastomer covers to seal and protect against splashes and dust.
