Arrow A.R.D. is an electronic device designed to inhibit errors originating from the post-catalyst lambda sensor (the one downstream),
in the event that the original one is removed or malfunctions.
The device connects directly to the motorcycle's diagnostic port (OBD) and only prevents the MIL (Check Engine) light from illuminating due to catalytic converter efficiency errors or sensor reading anomalies.
The A.R.D. is designed to remain permanently connected to the motorcycle's OBD port, without drawing power from the battery when the vehicle is turned off.
The device is equipped with an LED that indicates its operating status and automatically deactivates a few seconds after the ignition is turned off, reactivating and returning to normal operation the next time the ignition is turned on.
A split cable is also included in the kit to allow maximum connection freedom, leaving one OBD port free for connecting any other accessories.
In some vehicles the device connects directly to the OBD socket of the control unit, without using the supplied cable.
